ELECTION 2011 RESULTS - TIPPERARY NORTH

The results are now to hand following the 2011 Election for the 35th Dail. Following a long and hard fought campaign Michael Lowry (Independent), Noel Coonan (Fine Gael) and Alan Kelly (Labour) have now been elected and will take their place on 9th March, 2011 when our 35th Dail will meet for the first time. We congratulate all three on their election and look forward to working with them for the future of Thurles.

North Tipperary Vocational Educational Education Committee are holding an information evening on WEDNESDAY, 2ND FEBRUARY, 2011 from 3.00pm to 8.00pm in the ABBEY COURT HOTEL, DUBLIN ROAD, NENAGH.

Staff from the VEC's Adult Education Department will be there to talk to you on the evening.

Be environmentally friendly and recycle your Christmas tree free of charge at a specified area in the Parnell Street Car Park, Thurles. This facility is available from 8th to 22nd January, 2011 and is operated by North Tipperary County Council.
