TWO IN A ROW FOR THURLES SARSFIELDS

With a score of 1-16 to 1-7 Thurles Sarsfields have retained the Dan Breen Cup having beaten Clonoulty Rossmore in the County Senior Hurling Final in Semple Stadium on 31st October, 2010. It takes a great team to win a County Final but it takes a super team to win two in a row. Well done to all involved.

THURLES HALLOWEN ARTS FESTIVAL

Yes, THURLES is the place to be this week as it's third Halloween Festival takes place from 22nd to 31st October, 2010. Acts from France, Germany, USA, Australia, UK and Ireland will be permorming over the Festival. Great credit is due to the Committee who have put this fantastic Festival together and it will be a huge benefit to the Business people in Thurles. TIPPERARY SH MANAGEMENT TEAM TO STEP DOWN

Tipperary GAA County Board have announced with regret that the current management team of Liam Sheedy, Eamon O'Shea and Michael Ryan have decided to resign. The management team have been in situ for the last three years and culminated in Tipperary winning the Senior Hurling All Irelan in 2010. We thankk all three and wish them well for the future.
